This week we managed to complete a couple of games, but the only scoring one was the British 7th Armoured attack on Benoville. The British massed their armour on the western flank and deployed a thin screen of AT units in the east, hoping to pick-off any German units redeploying. The Germans dug-in around the town with their limited armour mostly deployed forward to try and attack from range.
The British attack quickly dealt with most of the Panzers but lost about a third of its own armour in the process.
This campaign is intriguing and producing some excellent games.

We're in the closing few weeks but the basic idea of varying forces against a strategic timeline seems to work. We'll definitely do more with Desert, Russia and Pacific island hopping all possible with the figs we have between us.
